What are the odds i could mine a bitcoin by solving the problem by hand with good old fashioned pen paper and calculator? then use my new 12.5 btc to buy mining gear
How hard would it be to convert a private key to public key by hand?
I've seen examples of Bitcoin mining by hand, but how much harder would it be to do this conversion? Seems like it could be a pretty secure operation combined with a few dice. Maybe even the use of a graphing calculator might be reasonable.
